Hi everyone. I had just noticed that there was a post in my blog stating that 1 Blue Thistle reduced. Now the price was correct but 1 Blue Thistle never reduced and I am not sure how this post got there as I did not write it nor did my husband and business partner. So to clarify, 1 Blue Thistle is 293,500 but there was never a reduction. Enjoy the sun people...we haven't seen much of it. Angela

End of 100% Financing and 40 year ammortizations

For those of you who haven't heard, this is what is happening. The end of 40 Year ammortizations as well as the end to 100% financing. This is suppose to occur in October I believe but anyone needing either of these should talk to their mortgage broker and get locked in for pre approval...otherwise you will be out of luck. Well, it is too hot to think today. Still prefer the heat to the snow or rain though. Bruce and I are still looking for a handyman special for our client. Anyone that has one or knows of one can call us at any time between 9-8 Mon-Friday. There isn't much out there for fixer uppers...or at least nothing that you could make some money on...so please make my phone ring. LOL I am just blogging today so say it is too hot to be blogging. I really can't think straight...and not because of the heat but because of the one year old crying and fussing beside me because of the heat. He is miserable so I believe that he has decided to try and make me miserable. I keep telling myself it will not work but who am I kidding...if this keeps up beers will be before 5...LOL. Well, enjoy the sun...keep smiling and MAKE MY PHONE RING MORE!!! LOL. Ang

Hey all. Beautiful day today...bit humid but I would take that over rain and snow any day. Today Bruce and I had our car done (decaled) Now you can all spot us driving around. We had it done by the company I mentioned in the title of this blog...Cornerstone Signs and Graphics. I have to say that I first saw their work on a few of our agents vehicles and really liked it. They went out of their way to accomodate us which is a big bonus when you are a Realtor but even more so when you have 3 kids. We took the car down to the office and they did it and a few others as well. They were quick, professional and reasonably priced. The car looks great, as well as all the others. I would recommend that anyone that has their own business and is looking for a great way to advertise it or to any of my fellow agents...Kevin Landry from Cornerstone Signs and Graphics is where you need to go. Seller and Buyer manual

I was on course yesterday at the NSRA and I heard a suggestion that I found interesting. Our instructor Gary, the same instructor that I had for my course back when suggested that we as Realtors® present our sellers or buyers with a manual or listing presentation with what we as personal Realtors® have to offer that client. With what sets us apart from other Realtors®. It got me thinking about myself and about Bruce and what we as individuals and as a team have to offer our clients. I have only begun this thought process and expect to add to it later but I have to say that one of my biggest qualities is that I really pay attention to what people say. I am an analyst. I have been criticized for it in my lifetime but realize that in my years of selling real estate it is a benefit. I really listen to what people are looking for in a home and what is important to them in their lives. I pay particular attention to the fine details that they themselves may not know they are telling me. Like their children's likes and wants, if they have pets and they want more room for their pets to roam, the names and ages of everyone in the family, color preferences, what they like in a neighborhood and so on. Things that come up in everyday conversation but things that will help us to find them the perfect home. Bruce will go the extra mile for our clients in every way. He has a huge heart and is empathetic to the trial and tribulations of the moving process. He will go out of his way to help the experience be pleasant one even to the point that he himself will not have any time in his days for himself but he is happy knowing that our clients are happy. These were just some of the things that I thought of off of the top of my head when the question was posed...but I truly believe that Bruce and I work very hard for our clients and often times have worked very hard for people that didn't turn out to be clients of ours but we worked just as hard. We have alot of integrity with regard to how we treat our clients and I am sure that if asked everyone of our clients over the years will agree. I am going to continue to think of all that we personally offer our clients that sets us apart from others. Stay tuned. As a mother of 3 but of 2 boys under the age of 2, I don't get much time to think. On another note, I have seen the sun poking through today...I hope for all that it turns out to be a nice day today. More so, a nice week. We have clients moving at the end of this week and it is no fun to move in the rain. Chow for now. Angela

I was looking for accomodations last week for clients of ours while they search for a new home. They are moving here from out West and needed to find a place for a few months. I did end up finding them a beautiful condo to rent but in the meantime had a woman call me that rents rooms in Bedford. For those of you who may be looking for a home around here but are moving from away and may need a cost effective place while house shopping, get in touch with Bruce or myself. We currently have buyers for the following properties which haven't been fulfilled by the stock on the market now: Home in Sackville, Bedford, Hammonds Plains or Tantallon with NO carpet, possibly a garage, 3-4 bedroom and at least 2 bathrooms. Price range is 180-240,000. We have seen most of what is listed now and not to say that our client won't purchase one of the homes currently listed but none are particularily catching their eye. Needing an apartment or home for rent in HRM for clients

Hey all. It has been awhile since I last blogged. Life can get away with me sometimes. I am in search of an apartment or home for rent. This would be a short term rental for clients that are coming here Aug 1st and they would need to rent a space for 3 months while house shopping. This is a mature couple so I don't believe there would be any worry of property destruction etc. If anyone can help Bruce or I out with this we would greatly appreciate it. We are in the business of making our clients happy and in searching Kajiji there isn't much there and we are running out of time. Please help us! On another note, I believe we are in store for some sun and heat this weekend....YAY!!! That makes me soooo happy. How about all of you?? In blogging...you sometimes feel like you are talking to yourself, so anyone that wants to respond is more than welcome. I love talking to people. Angela

Piece of land over 1 acre....would like municipal services if possible. Still looking for that income property as well. Our client is looking for a fourplex and they are a bit hard to come by in the Sackville area. Also, anyone looking to sell a cheap property we have a client looking for a home to flip. Thanks to all that read our blog and to everyone that responded. We did finally find her a home...one she is really happy with. I hope this will be a home that they can enjoy for many years to come and one that they can make some new and great memories in. Still not alot of inventory on the market right now and currently Bruce and I have numerous buyers looking. We are currently seeking a fixer upper in Sackville or surrounding areas. We are also looking for an investment property preferably a fourplex. Also looking for a home with an inlaw suite or could be a legal apartment. The last one we would prefer that the roof and windows not be that old. If there are any takers...or should I say sellers that are looking at a smooth move...we are the Realtors® for you.
